Another beautiful day in Germany.

6:30 up and at em' for an exciting day of treatment! I am actually not that excited today because I did not sleep well at all last night. I was full of energy or something because every time I closed my eyes they would automatically pop back open. Maybe I have a lot on my mind. I'm not sure but I know that today I will be trying to catch up on my sleep as much as possible. Anyways, morning routine; bath, pain meds, freshen up, and then off to breakfast. 7:30 breakfast cereal, and fruit. I had to eat a little quickly because today I have a lot of appointments.
8:00 I went to my first appointment which is the hyperthermia treatment. This treatment gave me pain the last time I had it but today it was a lot better. The nurses gave me some pain medication to make this treatment more tolerable. While I did this treatment they gave me my "own blood ozone"  infusion and my vitamin c infusion. This saved me about 45 minutes of treatment. After these treatments I went back to my room to rest before I go to see Marco for another reflexology appt.
10:30 reflexology appointment went smooth, I closed my eyes and just drifted into my own world for a little bit. 11:00 I returned to my room a little tired and needed to just lay down for a little while. Dr. Weber came to see me to let me know that my blood work had come back and everything looks great except for my liver function test. This is not surprising considering the fact that I am dealing with exactly this, liver metastasis. We discussed some plans of action to treat this issue and I will let you know how everything turns out.12:00 I went down for lunch salad, creamy potato soup, and veal with noodles. Yum. This was a very filling meal. Too filling in fact. I think that I need to keep my meals a bit lighter while I'm here because this lunch kicked my butt.
Afternoon.
I went back to my room for a little bit and ended up falling asleep until dinner time. I think that the jet lag is starting to catch up with me. I missed my FaceTime with Megan and the kiddos but it will be ok. I will speak with them tomorrow. I would have slept through dinner but the waitress called my room to let me know that "you vill come to dinner now!" ( that's my German impression)  dinner was nice. We have a new patient at the clinic. She is from Sweden and she was diagnosed with breast cancer three weeks ago. She seems like it really hasn't sunk in yet. That's understandable. It usually takes a while. We talked the whole dinner because she speaks fluent English and everyone else speaks German or doesn't speak at all. I spoke to her from my experience with the disease and she was very open to all the advice I could lend her. I sure we will talk more over the next couple of weeks. 7:30. I am back at my room now and still pretty tired. I think that I am going to call it a night. I will post again tomorrow! Hope you all enjoyed
